We build up the future with dreams, beliefs, and perseverance. The reference in the plural means that we may find several destinations. Our resolutions lead to different results, sometimes unconnected with what we idealized, sometimes in line with what we strove for. Therefore, the future is a book to be written, where we register the purpose of our lives. During these 70 years of Sindipeças, we wrote a beautiful history, alongside the affiliated companies, whose representatives maintained a common goal: to ensure the growth of the vehicle and parts manufacturers, and other partners of the automotive sector in Brazil. From the first car repair shops to the international corporations established here, we have noticed the persistence to be successful. Despite the uncertainties and instabilities that have always hovered over our economy, these leaders have never stopped believing, searching for alternatives, or withstanding adversities. Such virtues made Brazil the eighth largest manufacturer of vehicles – with the potential for producing 4.5 million units – and the seventh in sales. We have conquered much more than ranking positions. We developed state-of-the-art technology, such as the 20-year-old flex-fuel engine technology, and sophisticated, versatile automotive engineering committed to results. Currently, we can meet the requirements of sustainability documented in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), assuring a legacy of clean technology, and keeping up with the new coming ones, such as fuel cells powered by hydrogen, produced from sugar cane or agave. Here we are because resilience is our motto. We do not give up our ability to produce and help the country to transport people and wealth. May the other 70 years come!
