77 2026 Anuário Estatístico Statistical Yearbook | SINDICEL Strengthening enforcement with mobile laboratories and equipment To strengthen authorities’ capacity to identify and test product quality in the field, Sindicel donated three mobile laboratories and more than 250 pieces of technical equipment, enabling faster and more accurate inspections. Training programs were also delivered to enforcement authorities across all Brazilian states. The key equipment provided includes: • Technical precision: 70 micro-ohmmeters and one thermal imaging camera for detecting electrical resistance and abnormal heat generation; • Mobility and autonomy: 3 mobile laboratories equipped for immediate on-site testing; • Tactical support: 88 pliers, 34 test probes, and 21 clamps for handling large-gauge cables; • Infrastructure: 45 measuring rods and one computer for data processing. • Delegacia Cibernética do INMETRO O Sindicel e o INMETRO firmaram acordo de cooperação técnica para ações proativas contra a oferta e o comércio de produtos sem certificação no ambiente online. INMETRO Cyber Police Unit Sindicel and INMETRO have entered into a technical cooperation agreement to strengthen efforts against the online sale and promotion of uncertified products. On November 28, 2025, the Cyber Police Unit was launched in São Paulo and now operates in close coordination with Guardião Digital, INMETRO’s artificial intelligence platform. Electrical wires and cables are among the program’s priority product categories, with Sindicel leading the way as the first industry association in Brazil to implement sector-specific surveillance.
