Committed to fulfilling these steps, ABLA has gotten ready for ISO 9001 Certification, which represents systemic advancement through management and productivity gains. “We made the effort required for a new era, with better organization, more control, more evidence, indicators and ISO 9001 Certified quality. With everyone committed, I have no doubt about the success of the project”, says Eduardo Corrêa, managing advisor at ABLA for 2018/2019, when the work was started. ABLA has made adjustments to the workflows and forms applied by each department and function. The ISO project at ABLA is intended to set the standard for its activities and make all the processes carried out by the team transparent. The internal steps in the documentation of its activities and transparency of all the data generated provides precise flows to be audited and then adjusted. Cezar Belmonte, of Versattil Consultores, which assisted ABLA in the transition to ISO 9001, says the improvements that Quality Management provides add value to the service and management of the interests of members. “The gain stems from the implementation of the process approach, considering each of its operational structures, such as services for members and relationships with partners. There are benefits for purchasing, human resources and infrastructure maintenance, among others, with proper inputs and outputs, activities, controls, management and measurement of processes, all of which is fundamental to decision-making.” Belmonte says the Quality Management System at ABLA also ensures the reliability of documents, not to mention the link with internationally recognized certifiers, which will attest to the professionalism of ABLA’s management.
