O executivo disse ainda que a América do Sul e o Brasil, em particular, quinto maior mercado do mundo, continuam a ser um lugar atraente para os negócios. Numa perspectiva de previsões, o diretor de Finanças Amit Singhi disse que o mercado global de veículos deve crescer 30% até 2020, tendo como base 2013, e os carros compactos terão um papel importante. “A Ford está bem posicionada no Brasil e globalmente para estar na dianteira desse processo, com uma linha completa de veículos e um balanço financeiro forte para suportar os investimentos”, garantiu.
