Therefore, the industry is nonpartisan, but it is political. As a wealth generator, the industry needs to perform well and create jobs. It’s not enough to nationalize everything. It’s important to know who will “pay the bill”. The industry has suffered the consequences of an unbalance caused by the previous government. We want, and we need, a new breath to resume the balance path.  How is the trade union dealing with the labor and labor union reforms? The Sindicel, the 22 metallurgical trade unions and the whole FIESP, in general, including the current president, Paulo Skaf, understand clearly what the labor reform shall be. It didn’t come to harm the employee, but to untie some existent tax and labor liabilities. It shall be transparent on what can be done. When we don’t know what can be done, a horrible legal uncertainty is created.  What are the actions that the electric wires sector are carrying out to increase competitiveness? One of them was the labor reform that I believe, came from Sindicel and included support by multinationals. The associates of all sectors supported the premise that it was a big cost and that did not exist in other countries. We took this forward. I consider that we do a huge job related to Non-Conforming Materials. We want to raise the manufacturers’ awareness about the necessity of making quality products. However, with this crisis, the Non-Conforming Materials sector increased a lot. We undertook some actions, but it was not enough. Now, we have to expand the work. Before the end of my mandate, we are going to intensify the strategy to reduce the number of Non-Conforming Materials.
